31 songs, 2 guitars, & countless house concerts later, the time has finally come for me to record!
i've been up in the snowy mountains of florissant colorado for the past few days laying down scratch tracks with the musical god, barry patterson. click tracks did not become the death of me & i am realizing more & more as the process goes on that i may not be such a bad musicain after all. i am by no means john mayer himself, but i'm getting by. the important part is that i love every second of it, even if i did have to play "i am able" ten times before it was perfect.
the pattersons dog, otis cosmopolitan, is my new best friend & he totally supports me in this long hard journey of trying to be heard. he's exactly what i need at the end of a long days work of recording, & he knows it too.
the sprinkling snow has given me a new pep in my step, an added feistiness that wasn't there before. the recording process is only getting better from here, so watch out world... i have arrived.
.be strong & take heart.
am.
