Happy new year to you all! I hope you all had awesome holidays and didn't get too pissed, or bring in 2008 hugging a toilet bowl like I did. Hmm...let's hope that's not an omen.
"Clean slate 2008" is the word in the Iron On camp at the moment, and we're looking forward to whatever this year brings. I'm hoping for a new Iron On album this year, maybe I should have asked for a record deal from Santa for Christmas, or at least a whole stack of money! Bummer hey. Oh well, both those things aside, that's what we're working towards, and we're pretty excited about the new songs.
ANYWAY...
Those crazy cats at TRIPLE J are holding their annual HOTTEST 100 competition and Iron On's song ONE MAN BAND has made it onto the official voting list for 2007. If you dig the song, or even if you don't and just think one of us is hot, please take five minutes out of your day to vote for us. Obviously getting into the Hottest 100 is not easy, but the more votes for Iron On that show up in their system the better!

Next week we're playing two shows at the Zoo supporting The National which should be awesome. Wed 16th & Thurs 17th. We're main support for both shows and on about 9pm. Come along and say hi!
