"My vote (which hasn't officially counted for over ten years) would have gone for the Choir Practice's amazing 10 piece girl-boy vocal arrangements that silenced the room with soaring harmonies and beautiful songs. The matching outfits only complimented the music. Somewhat surprisingly, the all-guy two guitar, bass and drums unit of Victoria Victoria won. This is not to take anything away from the winners, I look forward to playing their herky-jerky rockin' pop songs on CBC Radio 3, it's just that I drank up the originality of the Choir Practice, and their ability to use just the power of voice, along with a lightly strummed guitar to fill a room with amazing music."
