Well hello again sports fans, this weekend I undertook a venture so long in the making...well, not really since I most definitely procrastinated haha. Here we have a semi-edible "salt dough" sculpture. Salt dough is basically the extremely cheap equivalent to play dough, made from cornstarch/water/pulverized not iodized salt (ground up into a powder basically). The base was constructed from ginormous foam blocks, which yours truly sliced and hacked at to make books. Then a generous coating of said salt dough...finished with a hell of a spray paint job (since time didnt permit me to really get in to it with some acrylics haha).

AND BEHOLD..a stack of antique books with a skull atop the bunch, and some slight blood splatters suggests a bit of macabre if you so wish to think :D.
