Current mood: awake
wow.
So much to say.
First off, I should be doing anthing but writing a blog right now. So, this will probably be short.
School: eugh. Glad to get this semester over with. Thanks to the UM, I am now a certified SCUBA diver. Spent the past weekend in Pelham, AL, enjoying an ice-cold quarry dive. Well, it was ICE cold, but it was chilly. SCUBA has to be one of the coolest decisions I have ever made. I cant wait to go somewhere tropical and practice the art. The only other thing University of Mississippi has given me is heartache and headache. Biology and Chemistry hate me. No matter that I attend classes EVERY day (this has been my best semester of my life as far as attendance), I am doing poorly. I have never done poorly...so I am not really sure how to accept it. And it's funny, because I am doing just fine in CalculusII. Maybe I missed my calling. I should have been a calculator. I'll alert Texas Instruments. BUT...at the end of this week, I will have a weeklong break, then back for only a moment and then exams...and then FREEEEEEEEEDOM. And then torture myself all over again:) I like it. I must.
What else? Rosalee is now a proud Pontotoc Warrior. I said it right, she is out of Oxford, well, we all are habitat-wise and true citizens of Pontotoc County:) It's amazing going back to a place where I have so many memories after so long, and so much has happened, and then reaquainting a real life there. It's strange but wonderful at the same time.
I am going to be an Aunt. Aunt Robin. Has a ring to it. In truth I am very scared and very excited at the same time. All these mixed emotions has me feeling like a drink concoted from the leftovers of a frat house party...
We are remodeling our house. It's sort of a forced remodel. And it all started with a misplaced bathroom rug on a floor furnace -- left unattended for hours and *POOF* a magical remodeling session. It's a good thing, minus all the sooty residue that will never come off some things;)
I am countdown mode:
I have many things to look forward to. Trips, visitations, more trips...holidays. I enjoy good old anticipation. I do NOT enjoy the surprise of cold coffee when you thought it was still warm. Bleh.
I am trying to think of what else to say. Life is good in the Southerner of regions, COLD but good. Sometimes I think things couldnt get crazier...and they always do. SO...I'll leave you with:
When the goin' gets rough, the rough get crazy!
Happy Holidays to all!!<3
