Star Machine is the next single culled from the album
Mystics.
This electro housed boogie monster features
Mocean Worker
on vocals and slapped funk bass channeling his inner Bootsy. Having
remixed the likes of Nina Simone, Herb Alpert and Rare Earth, Mocean
Worker (aka Adam Dorn) has the skills to pay the bills. His latest
album
Cinco de Mowo demonstrates this, blending his love of funk, big band, swing and breaks in his unique style.
We kick off with Luxembourg’s
Bellani & Spada
absolutely killing it with this BIG ROOM electro tech dance floor
destroyer. It’s been road tested world wide and slays every time. Next,
we have the original as it appears on the album, Mystics. Rounding the
single off,
Skizzo Franick drops his funky disco
rendition. Skizzo Franick is the alter ego of Vienna’s Philipp Peltz,
who has also remixed for folks like Aniligital and Mighty Fat Records.
This track was also the
winner of the FOEM remix contest
held for Star Machine. Hundreds of entries competed for the German
website’s competition. Skizzo came on top with his lovely version. Keep
your eyes peeled for the
FOEM Star Machine E.P. featuring 6 runner ups that made the decision to pick just one super hard! More info here:
