Music fans worldwide are celebrating the news that the highly acclaimed record producer East Van Parks has decreed the tracking sessions of the 5th Icecream Hands album " very definitely a lot of success", immediately prior to boarding a private plane bound for his secret Chalet in northern Europe.
He then waived several floppy discs triumphantly in the air, beaming ecstatically, and was apparently heard to say "I have the hard copies with me here". Rumoured to have been asked about some of the standout moments arising from the 2 and a half week sessions, East was thought to have replied..."oh so many crazy highlights, one time the other producer, the very handsome Jimi Maroudas and I, had an iced coffee from a plastic bottle. With a screw on lid. One bottle each. Oh such heady times! Also, the boys sang and played like I knew they would but even then so better. Oh I cannot wait to mix all these good things together and play them back to you".
Apparently the recording will be complete in about a month's time as East thankfully finished the rather noisy airport tarmac press conference by several times shouting words that sounded a lot like "I will be back in a few weeks with some fresh ears on".
