Madison Music Foundry (www.lessons.madisonmusicfoundry.com) is excited to present the Rock Workshop, which will give musicians the full band experience including recording and a live performance.

*Musicians (Middle school and High School ages) will be grouped with others of similar talent and interest to form bands.

*A teacher will assist in an 8 week (2 hour rehearsals, once a week) program to help them learn how to play with others as a band.

*At the end of the program, each band will gain experience recording in a professional studio (Smart Studios www.smartgeeks.com ) and will walk away with a finished CD.  

*Twice a year a showcase will be held at the High Noon Saloon (www.high-noon.com ) with all of the Rock Workshop bands to gain live show experience.  

The focus with the Rock Workshop is to help musicians break the ice with the different elements of being in a band and to have fun doing it.

The Rock Workshop (for Middle and High School aged musicians) application have started rolling in.   After we receive your application we will schedule you to meet the head instructor.  This is to meet all of the applicants in person to properly group them with similar musicians (genre and talent level).   Each group will start after that pending each musician’s availability and once we have each instrument’s spot filled.   We currently are in need of lots more bass players and singers but regardless of your instrument, if you are at all interested in the Rock Workshop, please fill out the application and send it in.  For more info on the Rock Workshop, please check out our lessons web page at WWW.LESSONS.MADISONMUSICFOUNDRY.COM
