On Wednesday morning, while I was at work I received a text letting me know that pro wrestler DJ Rizz or Ravishing Rizz passed away after being in a car accident Tuesday night.

For the past few days I've been trying to figure out what to say and truth be told, I have no clue what to say. I'm still in shock. I've met Rizz when I first started training in 2005 and since then he's been a friend, a co-worker, and sometimes a teacher to me and to lose him in a instant is just painful.

The North California wrestling scene just won't be the same without him. The locker rooms of the various promtions we both worked together won't be the same without him there. He was such a great guy. He always wanted to just have a good time and he always busted his ass in every match to make sure the fans were entertained. He really was such a great guy and a great friend. I'm really going to miss Rizz.
