I just got back from Canberra, where I was the support act for Weird Al Yankovic. It was an enjoyable time. I have been a fan of Weird since he first came on the scene when I was watching coundown with my family on a Sunday.
This was over 20 years ago. The guy is a legend. And his band flipping rock.
I had a mini fantasy that Weird Al or his manager would come upto me after the show and say " how would you like to be the support act for the rest of the world tour.?"
Instead I got a poster.
