The Antix had a great time at the Valenzuela/Schulenberg Nuptials last weekend, despite the fact that this was one of those days where all of the sudden the weather got increasingly hotter.
The band and I made the best of the heat. While we waited for our guests to arrive, the
Rancho Las Lomas staff kept us hydrated with bottled water and a cheery disposition.
Our coordinator
Mary Jo Gallegos was an absolute doll who I would highly recommend to any bridal couple. She was on top of every detail and took great care of us. Heather with
24 Carrots also went above and beyond and their food was exquisite. The newly married
Janine and John Schulenberg had an adorable choreographed first dance to Michael Buble's "Everything."
A HUGE thank you to
Will Blount and his assistant Ben for dealing with unforeseen sound issues.
(Fellow vendors: important to know that if you work there, all power now must go through a generator that clients must usually rent on own.) Will & Ben both went above and beyond and made this event a true success.
I highly recommend working with all of these event professionals above, especially our booking agent
Mike Steffens of Essence Ent. and my beloved band:
Jason Toney, Jason Foster, Steve Araujo, Andrew Martinez and Don French. They learned and played some new tunes we didn't know before that day. I am honored to know and work with each of them.
Thx gang! See you next time :)

Good morning Brooke,
I can't thank you enough for helping me make Janine and John's wedding a great success. Thank you for your professionalism in handling all the announcements and staying flexible throughout the entire evening. You were a delight to work with. And a big thanks to the Band and the tech guys.
The blog is great and thanks for including me and all the great words.
Looking forward to when we can work together again.
All the best,
Mary Jo Gallegos
