Ben Stiller, Jack Black and Robert Downey Jr. lead an ensemble cast in "Tropic Thunder," an action comedy about a group of self-absorbed actors who set out to make the biggest war film ever. After ballooning costs (and the out of control egos of the pampered cast) threaten to shut down the movie, the frustrated director refuses to stop shooting, leading his cast deep into the jungles of Southeast Asia for "increased realism," where they inadvertently encounter real bad guys. MySpace Black Curtain showed one of the first screenings of Tropic Thunder last night -- if you were one of the lucky people who got tickets and attended, let us know what you thought.

The movie was great but the Village cinemas staff for the Victorian screening at Crown had no idea what was going on. It was by far the worst Black Curtain I've been to - poorly organised and executed. Like Benny, I'm never going to a Black Curtain Screening at Crown again.

It was a funny movie but it was a weak turnout compared to 'pineapple express'.Only half the cinema was full.

I agree with Black Curtin, what an awesome movie!

Entertaining opening, thought the movie previews were real! Actually they are part of the movie! Coarse language content though, but funny.

Great make-up on Tom Cruise and Robert Downey Jnr! You cant tell from first glance.

I knew it was Tom Cruise when they did the closer up on him. My guess was right.
Fabulous!

Brief apperance from other Actors/Actress, like former member of NSYNC. Jennifer love-hewitt, spiderman! ... Gret soundtrack too.

To sum: Watching movie star’s real life in a movie ... how’s that sound?

Thanks Black Curtin for the tickets.

This movie was a real laugh, i think that it was a great way to get away from everything that was happening for you outside the cinema.
