Yesterday was our 4th edition of Play It Forward in Laval, Québec....

It's WAAAAYYY too early in the morning and we're already in the car driving back to Toronto with my band. It's pouring rain and I'm sitting in the car between the guys and the gear. We're exhausted but there's a lightness in the air as we go over all the details and special moments that happened at the show last night... Remembering the power of Dominique's cello solo, the smooth delivery of the string octet during Rich Girl, the wave of energy of the orchestra AND choir during Precious Love and the spontaneous response of the audience, the new found “funk” of the horn section, made us all forget about all the technical dilemmas we had to overcome in order to make it there.

The long road that lead up to the this magnificent show with 120 string players, horn players and choir members was well worth it. And the big moment came and went and now has already become part of the memories. Beautiful memories.

I'm driving back to Toronto from my hometown of Montreal with a great sense of pride and renewed energy. Even the rain can't tame the sunshine in my heart. Thank you for a wonderful show kids. I'm very grateful to have shared the stage with you last night.
