Check out what people are saying about the amazing Ramoth-Gilead and catch him at one of his many stops across the country. You can find out where he is playing at his myspace page, or buy some of his music at Old House Records.
Ramoth-Gilead (the really bad) is a GJ's favorite, and should be inducted into the GJ's Hall Of Fame (if there was such a thing). There's no one like him, and if you've never experienced a Ramoth-Gilead night at GJs, you need to mark your calendar and plan to be there March 14th. Traveling the country by Greyhound bus armed only with his trusty guitar (and mouth harp and tamborine), Ramoth-Gilead attracts a crowd in bus stations, street corners, parks, bars, clubs, coffeehouses - wherever he can sit and play some of his amazing songs. My favorites are "Play for Change," "I Can Smell It," "Unanswered Calls," "Cornbread," "Deeper Than Politics," and... probably all the others, too!
