The Hangover is one of those rare movies that comes around where everything works. Great storyline... check. Great ensemble of actors.... check. Keeps the laughs coming... check. Gorgeous girl... check. Mike Tyson singing Genesis... check. One of the things that this movie has going for it is that it takes a subject that is usually used for 'chick flicks', in this case the period just before a wedding, and turns it into something for both guys and girls. I consider it  to be not just the funniest film of 2009 but possibly of the decade.

One of the strong points of this movie is it's ability to throw anything at you. Literally anything could happen next and that format serves it well in it's ability to make the audience laugh. Oh and laugh you will. If the tiger in the bathroom doesn't get you no problem. How about the baby in the cupboard. Want something a bit stronger? How about finding out you've married a hooker just days before you were planning on proposing because you had one HELL of a night?

The four leads work extremely well together. I wouldn't be surprised to see them reunited in another movie down the line. In Hollywood today we see many cliques who often make movies together whether they be led by Ben Stiller, Will Ferrell, Adam Sandler or Seth Rogen. This could be the beginning of a new group, if they so choose. Yes that's right, this movie is THAT good. I cannot remember laughing out loud so much in a very long time. You would be doing yourself and the film industry by not going out and seeing this great film. I promise you, you won't regret it.

Oh yeah, and make sure to stay and watch the credits. Have fun.

Funniest movied released this year. I havent laughed that hard in a long time. Excellent movie.

i thought is is was absoultey hilarious!! It had the whole cinema laughing and in tear, might i add it was a booked out session! Great storyline, awesome line up of actors and just work together well!!

It was so funny!
I went with mates from school, and we couldn't stop talking about the movie afterwards.
It was a great movie.

 

..It was terrible. I like silly drunk humour as much as the next girl, but to include a baby and a tiger like that was terribly unnecessary. Not only did it include Child neglect it threw in an acute dose of Animal Cruelty as well, and I'm affraid that did it for me. Initially it showed a promising story line but it lost me with its constant stupidity. Has anyone noticed how we are breeding a new kind of 'Stupid Man'? This is becoming more obvious in todays sitcoms and films, and really we didn't need a movie like The Hangover to add its two sense worth, and I mean seriously, it's only worth two sense...

one of the funiest movies i have seen

 

I've seen this movie 3 times in the past week and i'm still laughing. It was really great but I thought with all of the spontaneous things they did on there drunken rampage, doug being on the roof all night was a little but of a downfall compared to the rest of the things they did. But overall, awesome movie.

 

i was disappointed that i spent 15$ on this run of the mill overkilled story.

 

The funniest movie I have seen ever. Started off thinking very far fetched but as things went along , it became so believable and similarities to bucks weekends I had been on heightened my enjoyment.
