Seriously every time I turn on the news it fucking TERRIFIES me. How can our country be in this state right now? How the sweet Christ did this happen? How the FUCK has Nader not learned his lesson and taken to drinking late into the night and sobbing at what he did? Yeah that's right kiddies I can blame every problem in the known universe to Ralph Nader. I hate him aaaaalmost as much as Bush, because without him... Gore... Gore would have been our president and this whole fucking catastrophe of our lives today would have possibly been avoided. Then again in 2004... will someone put him in a box and send him to Darfur or something? Please? Come on...
Then I turn on the television today and see that 1. John McCain has NO clue who the Prime Minister of Spain is, and 2. Palin is an even bigger fucking moron than anyone (even the Democrats) predicted. That whore got her Passport a YEAR ago. I've had a passport longer than her! I've been to CANADA more than her and she lives in Alaska! McCain has a 1 in 3 chance if he's lucky of surviving the first term. So that means that if that cancer ridden geriatric actually wins we are actually electing Palin as the president, and her husband (being referred to in the media as the 1st Dude... seriously) and their children Trig, Bristol, Lawnmower, Badminton, and Feltch will be in the White House. Then we're fucked. Proper fucked. Like Russia is going to go "That bitch has been watching us from her house?! ARM THE MISSILES!"
Today we were having a discussion about worst case scenarios.
Best Case Scenario 1: Obama is elected and Bush chokes on a pretzel the second he's off the podium at inauguration.
Worst Case Scenario 2: Obama is elected, then shot by some racist piece of shit like we are all fearing a little bit. At least Biden is a competent leader to take the job.
Death Case Scenario 3: McCain is sworn in and immediately has a heart attack/ stroke/ eaten by wolves or some other health issue that's already plaguing him. Then for four years we are stuck with some corrupt nobody who knows how to field dress a moose and can see Russia from her house. I'm all for Women's lib, but I learned my lesson when Judy Martz was elected Governor of Montana. She left office with the worst approval rating of any governor in history... and even she was more qualified to be president than Palin.
I just can't believe that this country hasn't seemed to learn any sort of lesson from the past 8 years. I'm not in any way saying Obama will swoop in and solve every problem this country has, but anything would be better than Palin. Really anything. Like let's just fork over the keys to China and avoid a mess. I'll be starting Mandarin lessons next week. I'm moving to Europe.
