Ok, I don't really know the rules on this thing,
Apparently, you get tagged and then you post 7 random things about yourself...

So here goes, let me think for just 5 minutes.








Alright:

1. I have not had a drink of alcohol in 15 years, excepting cooked into recipes. I actually even gave my rum balls away this year from a cookie swap, without ever tasting them. I sometimes think everyone might have a certain amount of booze to drink in his or her life and I finished mine pretty quick like. And, Yes, I am in AA and yes, I STILL go to those meetings. When I was still drinking I also smoked about 2 packs of cigarettes a day. This was a habit I didn't quit until I was pregnant with Leigh. Never looked back.


2. I have gotten multiple driving citations before I was even driving long…(see again, above) I liked to fancy that I was just "in the wrong place at the wrong time" or just "not a very experienced driver yet"


3. I had dread locks while in college and after for a short time. This was not originally planned but if you let long, naturally 'curly' thick hair alone, well, it doesn't stay manageable for long. Combine that with driving around the country for weeks on end and not remembering to do much more than eat and sleep. (Again, see 1) I was able to keep them together in such a way that they were barely noticeable.


4. I HATE shaving. I will go for months sometimes in the winter without shaving my legs. I went for long periods of time when I was younger without ever touching a razor. And I'm a chronic nail biter…I just can't seem to stop. I have tried everything, even that bitter paint on shit!! The only time I didn't bite them was for over a year after I had Leigh. I actually had fingernail clippers and used them!


5. The first time I met Bryce, we were talking about why we had moved to AZ and I had told him that I had originally moved to go to ASU for a masters in Fine Art then changed my mind. He said, "You probably moved here to meet me." This was the first time we had met and we were standing in line at the Coffee Plantation on Mill in Tempe. I thought, "What an asshole!" But, his lines got better and I married him anyway.


6. I have a BFA in Fine Art Crafts and a BS in Art Education…..I am using neither (Nor have I in the past 10 yrs) to eke out a living. After I graduated, I spent a time with some other craftspeople who were doing craft shows and selling in a few stores consignment. Most of the money that was made on the road was spent on travel expenses or just spent. I did have a website and a small online business that I let go after Leigh was born.


7. I have terrible feet; I only wear 3 different shoes, Birks, flip-flops, and 1 pair of sneakers when I am walking. Most shoes, especially cute trendy numbers, hurt my feet. Some people say it's because of the Birks.
