Actually, those people are among the reliable 40% who vote Republican in Federal elections.

Except when complete fuckups are nominated like Barry Goldwater in 1964, George McGovern in 1972 or Walter Mondale in 1984, each party is essentially guaranteed 40%-45% of the vote with all the resources expended on the remaining 10%-20% of the population.

Besides the obvious errors in spelling and grammar, a person is only eligible for one Nobel Prize.

It amazes me how dumb people can be. The people quoted above are the GOP's legions of morons who will crawl naked on broken glass to vote for their candidates out of fear they will be doomed to hell if they don't vote against the Democrats.

I don't think there is a limit on how many Nobel prizes a person can receive.

And it's funny how Jesus himself told his followers to give up ALL their worldly possessions, and had no tolerance for anybody being half-assed about it.
 

It is not just the United States who endulge themseves in stupidity these days. I used to have some respect for Switzerland, because they were stubborn and took pride in NOT doing things the way everybody else does.

They tried to legalize marihuana some years ago. Everybody was expecting the law to be changed in that way. People were smoking weed in trains (they still had smokers cars then). Then they held a referendum and the people of switzerland decided to keep marihuana illegal. Rumors say that the heavy weed smokers kinda missed the referendum ("oh that was today, I thought it was next week")

Then they arrested Roman Polanski for "raping" an underage teen god known how many years ago. Well the US played some role in this one. However in their good days Switzerland would NEVER have submitted to the claims of some prude US courts.

Just a few days ago they passed a referendum which prohibits building new minarets (those towers, you know) on muslim mosques. Critiques say, than one should not allow dumb people to decide about essential human rights.

Stupididy creeps in everywhere. It is a desease. And it is not even percieved as one by the general public. They resort to rain dances instead of taking a closer look and realizing: it is Mycobacterium stupidosis which causes all that suffering.
