No more glass eyes and love poems

Second thoughts and milestones

Fake roses and mocking birds

Long nights and short words

Now please

Stop

The "just one more"

Talk

No more flashes and jokes

Medicated moments and high hopes

Last words and fast reactions

Blind faith and half ass incisions

Now I'm a

Writer

Instead of a

Murderer

No more screams and sweet tears

Sweating bodies and jealous fears

Our history and our future

Pain was our greatest teacher

first off. your new picture reminds me of the clowns from IT and ITs scaring me quite thouroughly.

"six seconds to destroy a love poem"

good one.

in my opinion a keeper.

as is no editing. even i wouldn't add punctuation because the title says "six seconds..."

therefore, it adds a sense of urgency in which the audience wants to read it quite quickly without any commas, exclamations, questions, or periods to stop them.

about 7 seconds really.

because i had to analyze.

you're a writer instead of a murderer. message me and please explain. i hope this means that you now create instead of destroy.

Really great poem. I like a lot this poem, and the end: "Now I'm a writer instead of a murdurer" , "Our history and our future, Pain was was our greatest teacher". Really great. And it's ironic. Your poetry remind me the one of the french poet Rimbaud. You must know him.

Firstly I want to say thanx for commenting on my blog, I really appreciated the praise!

I think the poem is very well polished, the blog space looks really attractive and the fonts and just detail to the finish works really well.

The poem itself is an interesting series of cynical couplets with double even triple syllable rhymes very similar to my own style of my more lyrical poems- ironically about love!

I feel that its difficult to be cynical because you just have to take the highs with the lows all in your stride, its all about being human I suppose. I enjoyed reading it, keep up the writing!

The just "one more talk".  What a great line in the Poem.

Our history and our future

Pain was our greatest teacher. Also a great verse. Spontaneous read. I loved it.
