I DON'T HAVE AN INSIDE VOICE!

Tuesday, October 30, 2007

I should add that this list is not neccesarily in any particular order.

This is a continuation of my previous blog, so if you want to know where this list comes from, see "Part 1"

RICHARD KING- I admit that the most impressive part of your abilities as a cinematographer is your incredible speed, but that should not undermine your incredible eye. I love the fact that no matter the project you refuse to compromise quality. Before I met you i was ready to storyboard the entire movie out of fear that this unknown cinematographer and I may not mesh. And even though you requested boards after we met, I intentionally limited the amount of boards you saw only because even as guidelines for you they would have limited your abilities to astound me with your talent which you have done from the very momenet i met you.

CRAIG BUTLER- For a man with such diverse abilities, your humility is definately something that confuses me. You are so natural with your talents which continue to impress me. I am forever grateful for your forgiveness and continued willingness to lend me your many many talents.

JOHN LORE- One of the few people that i believe might have close to a slight grasp on where you are artistically, it has been my distinct pleasure to have you around me both as a friend, an artistic collaborator and one of the few photographers who can take a picture of me that actually looks, not only "okay" but amazing.

RYAN LACEN- Who could have asked for an easier experience when it came to writing a screenplay together. Our script WILL be filmed, my friend, and our unique collaboration will finally come to light and be brought all of the attention it deserves. I love when my instincts about a person are so dead on as they were with you and our colaboration. You brought my writing to a whole new level and I can only hope I influenced you in some small way.

JEF CAMERON- Mr. Perfect. Your grace in the face of anything thrown at you amazes me as there is no way i would ever be able to put up with all that you do. You allowed a group of filmmakers of whom you knew about half, to take over your house for two weekends in a row and you worked under incredible pressure you ensure that one of the most important aspects of filmmaking was spot-on. And you were successful in every way. I appriciate more than everything the fact that you have been there for me whenever i call you with very little notice.

JASON WITTER- Although it's been a while since we've worked together, you were a tremendous influence in my early theatrical endevours and you continue to generously assist with your diverse acting abilities. Your drive and demand for excellence above all else is an inspiration. You have helped me in ways you don't even know and anytime I go to see something written by you is always the highlight of my day.

STILL MORE TO COME, BUT I HAVE TO GET BACK TO WORK FOR REAL . . . Look for part 3 :c)
