MySpace is pretty dead.

I only come on here about once a week or so.

Busy season coming -- I've moved my Katrina Critters to Facebook as well.  Nothing had sold on here in a LONG time, and the minute I moved it to FB? BAM! Orders.  And we need the money.  I won't lie about that!!  I'm thankful for repeat and new customers in an economy that is biting way too many people in the ass.


Comedy is still busy as well.  Had a few gigs fall through here and there, but I did manage to headline a club for the first time last Friday.  Solid 45 minute set, merch sold afterwards, and a few old faces in the crowd.  Not old as in Elderly but people I haven't seen in a long time.  My college roomie and her husband and parents came to the show, and oddly enough my ex-husband stopped to say hello.  He couldnt' stay for the show, but saw my name on the marquee and wanted to stop by before he went to work. Hadn't seen him in over 15 years.  Why did he stop by? No clue.  It was neither upsetting nor exciting.  If anything it was surprising in how unremarkable it was. 

I thought he was taller.  I remember him as being a bigger man.

I guess when you spend the better part of ten years with a big hulkin' Yeti everyone else is small in comparison? 

We talked.  We exchanged Nice.  That was it.

More important was the chance I was given to headline a club when there are still some who are stubborn enough to think I can't even feature at one.  That I haven't "been at it long enough" or whatever......  Yeah.  WHAT. EVER.

I'll take every opportunity presented to me and run with it.  I'll never bite off more than I can chew but it seems I've found....... I can chew quite a bit. 


Okay done rambling.  I guess I just wanted to touch base.

Yeti's feeling better every day, his blood being controlled by medication.  The VA has taken over his care and they're going to figure out WHY he tossed those clots.  But he's back to being my big, strappin', hunka-hunka Yeti again.

Life is busy.  Life is Good.

I am a content and highly blessed woman.

I think it is sad what has happened to Myspace.  But I am still here and have recently started blogging again.  Glad facebook is proving helpful to you but I am still not feeling the love over there! 
And headlining!   How wonderful - and much deserved!  Congrats!!!

Yeah, I'm shocked silly I've been here as much as I have as well. Good heavens. Facebook is something i keep in the background. Today is swapping recipes and talking with family day, lol. I just gave out my chocolate soy milk smoothie recipe.
The Spazz sure isn't what it used to be, more's the pity.

I'm about equal here and there.  Both in time and in people I'm in contact with.  I don't think it's at all dead here.  To me it's just different.  Glad to see you on both!  And I JUST LOVE THE CRITTERS again this year!!

I have definately noticed the changes here on myspace and finally did log into facebook a couple weeks ago.  Facebook is just different and so "new" to me.  Not quite sure yet about it yet and will need to give it a bit of more time......  I am glad to be able to follow how well you are doing professionally and happy to hear that Yeti is still doing well.  I have your Katrina Critters out all year long because they remind me of our special Christmas last year and each piece is precious!!!

I'll find you on FB. But I do like your blogs. I think all of us think someone has something interesting to pop out  on FB. I find I am just as boring as everyone else,although I am enjoying the games on there. And what is pathetic is I am revolving life around them too. Really , really pathetic. But , I ain't doing anything other than clean and watch TV, movies. Thank goodness my life seems to sort of settling down with my kids. Just would prefer doing more with my spare time here at home besides games. But oh well.... Catch you on the FB.

I'm kind of in the same boat as far as visiting this site is concerned. I still write blogs, but life has been so busy lately, about the only time I can post my gibberish is on the weekends, and then it's 3 or 4 blogs at a time. Mostly on Facebook now, but that site doesn't let me get as creative with my writing as this one does.

Congrats on the gigs, and happy to hear that all is well in Katrina World.

I think alot of people are jumping ship to facebook..I know for me I love it because its more interactive with my friends I dont have to wait forever to see if they commented me back and whatnot

well, shit i haven't been online in almost a week cause I moved and had internet problems.
*sigh* so my life has been stressful for about 2 and a half weeks. but at least now i'm 5 minutes walking distance from work, so no more excuses when i'm late...that can be good or bad haha.

but good to hear everything is going good on your end :) it's always good to hear others are doing well. glad yeti is doing well too. you can breath a gigantic sigh of relief i bet huh?
