Well lets see how should I start this off?

Signing up is easy, just head over to playatlantica.com and click the register button, and bam you can sign in to the game. The client download is down to 2gb, so it might take a bit to download but nothing like the cb one zomg it was huge.

Alright so now you have your account and game downloaded and installed. What now? Well I'll walk you through what it was like for me in the begining.

First opened up the game client and got some pretty cool looking loading screens, and then the sign in screen was like WHOA! I mean it is a full 3 team of monsters taking on a full team of 'Player' classes and mercenaries you can hire during your travels.

Now I had to figure out what server to play on, cause we wanted to play with our friends we made during the closed betas and found out that most had started on the second server up, Mycenae server. Then was tasked to create a hero, and make a customized greeting everyone around you sees when you log in. I named mine CptObvious just like all my CB hero's were named. And chose to be a Cannon user this time around, after trying out Gun and Staff in the past.

Then I hit create/accept button and then entered the game. After a brief loading screen you get the basis of the story line thrown on your screen in a cut-scene. That's when you find out you are in the a Dream World learning the basics of mercenary hiring, combat, and item use.

After you have completed your tutorial you get thrusted into a virtual representaion of the real world. You then start on your quest to find Atlantis and cleaning up the messes they had created when they faded into time.

Now you might be thinking, 'Gerry what are you saying learning all this stuff, you make it sound like it is hard.' It's not in the least bit difficult to pick it up. There are so many things to, and places to explore also. There is no reason to get bored.

I have now made it up to lvl 63 (at the time this is being posted) almost 64. I am currently questing in The Hanging Gardens! Pretty cool right? Well that is right. I mean taking elements from the real world's history and myths and putting them into the game to be explored and learned is awesome.

There are times you wanna yell at your screen cause some boss is kicking your butt. But that is what all games are like.

I'm gonna list some of my favorite things about the game: 1. Crafting, so many things to make, so little time =D. 2. Exploring, come on, who doesn't wanna go see Milan, and Athens in the same day =D. 3. The community seams to be pretty awesome, it was great during closed beta but now that there is more people to play with and meet, it just seems to be getting better.

I'm now gonna post a few pics, first one is when I got my 7-day horse from a One-Eyed Pirate Treasure map. Second one is of me and my mercs in battle to show that you can have a lot of different play styles and still be successful. Third is a pic of me and my girlfriend's group of mercs in battle. I dont have any pictures of monsters in battle yet. I'll post some later.
