It has been a while since we've made any sort of announcements regarding
the Orchid's Curse but despite what you may have heard, I can assure you
all we are alive and well.  We are back on the wagon and saddling up for
some more shows which will be announced in the coming week or so.

Also for those unaware we have graciously welcomed Mr. Sexy Shorts
himself, Keith MacLeod (x-She Kills) as our new guitarist!  We are glad to
have finally gotten our second arm back and could not have found a cooler
dude or a more bad ass shredder to replace our original guitarist, Paul
'Grease' Slaunwhite.   With 2 axe men we are back in true form and have
already begun writing some new material to add to our repertoire.

Speaking of new material we have decided to submit the song 'Let the Ashes
Bury this Life' for the upcoming Diminished Fifth Records compilation CD
'The Music of Artisanship & War: Volume II' which is due out this fall.

'Let the Ashes Bury this Life' was recorded by Brett MacDougall in the
mini-recording sessions from February 2008.  The sessions also included
the recordings of 'The Delicate Art of Dying' (which can be heard on the
myspace) and '…of the Flesh'.
