for my soul is flighty
leaping from love to love
shouting, proclaiming to ears above
Who hear sadly
and hang there, heads in shame
dismayed at the the mistake I've made again
Caught in fun of cheap pick-up-lines
Ignoring exhorting to my mind
return to it all
and forget all the rest
blaming and dodging
give it a rest
I'm guilty, culprit
held to blame
Unworthy of sanctity
of that Perfect Name
