My view on the "Vista Capable" class action lawsuit is this-
PEOPLE DID NOT DO THEIR OWN RESEARCH! Also, they are trying to make some quick cash from a company that has made it’s money from "WORKING" These people are pathetic excuses for human beings, suing for their own stupidity!
Yes, I totally agree that Windows Vista is a resource hog, however, I have a PC from 2005, in my basement, which runs Vista Ultimate perfectly.
P 3.2 Processor (Prescott)
1 GB of 667 MHZ Ram
ATI Onboard Video
DVD/CD/RW ALSO A DVD ROM
Purchased this at COMP USA for $600 w/tax and added :
Video Card, PNY NVIDIA GEFORCE 7900GS
more RAM, 1GB SO THE PC HAS A TOTAL OF 2GB
NOW THIS IS VISTA CAPABLE! I did my research...This PC was NOT INTENDED FOR VISTA WHAT SO EVER!
BOTTOM LINE:
QUIT BUYING THE CHEAPEST COMPUTER AND EXPECTING THE MOST FROM IT!

UPDATE:
While listening to a podcast "Windows Weekly" from TWIT TV...It seems to me that Microsoft employees even had this happen to them...hmmm...I’m thinking that they didn’t do their research ether..This type of thinking implies that I should sue Chysler, for selling me a PT Cruiser, with a speedometer dial that reaches 140mph...We all know that NO stock PT Cruiser is going to achieve that speed...
