I just wanted to let everyone know what yesterday I went the Nation Museum of the Marine Corps with Robyn, Ethan, Justin and his co-worker. That place is amazing and I think we spent nearly 4 hours walking around in there. They have all the different (major) wars that the Marine Crops has been involved in and in some of them they even have temperature controled rooms to give you the feel that you are really involved. It is work the the trip and I highly recommened everyone heading there for a look around at some point in your life. It is right off Rt. 1 in Trangle, VA (not far from Quantico) and is not that hard to get to.

Huh, never knew there was such a place, and I've been by there many times!! Though I think it's fairly new, right? Seems like maybe a couple years ago we were driving up 95 and saw some weird structure poking up over the tree line and never could figure out what it was... this looks like it.

And I thought it was going to be something top secret, with alien autopsies inside or something ... *shrug*

I'll check it out next time I get a chance. Sounds like the sort of thing we'd like.

If youre ever in Newport News VA check out the Virginia War Museum.. it's along the same lines. it's got TONS of war memorabilia crammed into a building that's smaller than the Queen Anne's co. library. Definitely off the beaten path, and well worth the money.
