2008 was a record year for Bait. The band saw larger crowds, larger venues, plus more airplay and media attention than ever before.

Our Myspace profile went from just over 1200 to more than 5000 friends! We went from playing at small clubs to performing at Tulsa's number one club; Fishbonz. But we didn't stop there. We tore it up at Dfest '08, The Tulsa Convention Center and Spirit Bank Convention Center. Bait Opened for Hurt and Course of Nature at The Cain's Ballroom (The 43 Live Music Venue in the U.S. top 100). And we brought the rock to The Metallica Pre-show at the BOK Center!

Our song "Ballad Unknown" made it on Z104.5's Homegroan Compilation CD as track 2, and dominated the nightly Cockfights for nearly two weeks. U.S. stations that have us in their rotation went from just 10 to nearly 70!

We got a write up in Sister Hazel's Charity Newsletter seen by more that 40,000 people. Tulsa World published pictures of us on three different occasions. And we peaked the radar on some 20 newsworthy blogs.

Though with all the accolades we would be nothing without the listeners. So thank you for offering up a portion of your lives to pay attention to us.
