Hey Ya'll-
Betcha didn't think you'd ever see a bulletin from us again? did-ja? Well wonders never seem to cease. I tought that I would take a short moment to bring all you old-school idio fans up to date on what's been going on in our world.
ROB WRIGHT- He is currently living and working in the Washington D.C. area. Rob just recently got engaged to his beautiful fiance Laura Jamison and is planning a 2009 wedding on the North Pole. Musically, Rob has a small project that he is gearing up called "Colors and Shapes". You can find him on Idio's top friends and re-befriend him.
SEAN CORBETT- Sean teamed up with one of Idio's good friend's, Si Lewis and started work on a new recording studio just outside of Grove City, PA called Blacktown Sound Labs. As usual they offer the most out-dated techniques of recording...BUT IT SOUNDS SOOO DAMN GOOD THOUGH!! If you are in a band that needs recorded- these are your guys for sure!!. Sean and Si are also in a band together called Amplifiers. They are on Idio's top friend list.
JARRED "CLEVELAND-J-ROD" VALLOZZI- Jarred and Emily Stevenson got married and moved to Virginia. Jarred is currently a high school physics teacher. When he's not teaching, he is at Dogfish Head Brewery making Bill jealous.
BILL SMITH- Bill moved to Austin, TX with his girlfriend Megan Roy in pursuit of music. He is currently in a band called Yellow Lady Slipper. YLS is a collaboration between him and his highschool friend, Josh Milligan. The music is going well and shows will start to pile up into the new year.
If you've made it this far, you must have been a true fan and we want to thank you for that! Feel free to check out Colors and Shapes, Yellow Lady Slipper, Blacktown Sound Labs, and Amplifiers to keep up to date with everyone.
Much Love,
Bill Smith
P.S. Sean says: In addition to what Bill mentioned here, I also want to say that I've added the option to download the Overachiever In Love album in FLAC format, which is a "lossless" audio format, i.e., downloading it is like getting an actual copy of the CD, with no quality loss. It will take about 4 times longer than the MP3 version to download, but it's well worth it. Please make sure your music player can play FLAC format before downloading though. If not, the high-quality MP3 version is still available, as well as the physical CD version (which has the added benefit of the liner notes and excellent artwork created by James Wetz).
And on that note, please keep telling your friends about the album! Believe it or not we still have over a grand in debt to pay off from our three and a half years of touring (2004-2007). Go here: The Idiosympathy Store
