47,000 Kilometers Walked, 11.5 Million Trees Planted GREENING THE EARTH ONE STEP AT A TIME

Sunday, August 30, 2009
After months of preparation the South African Tour of the Wonderful World Tree Planting Festival has arrived in Johannesburg and at this very moment, 11.30am all
120 Japanese Volunteers are safely in the hotel lounge making their introductions.
After a long flight, it's a day of rest before a very busy seven days of tree planting and Food Garden building in several townships.

Thousands of trees are expected to be planted and at least three food gardens created to feed local communities and enhance immune systems
 in the struggle against AIDS.
