47,000 Kilometers Walked, 11.5 Million Trees Planted GREENING THE EARTH ONE STEP AT A TIME

Recently I've met some very interesting people: In Tokyo I got the opportunity to speak on the same platform as Deepak Chopra,
founder of The New Alliance For Humanity who was simply incredible
and set the theme for the day, BE THE CHANGE.

Yumi Kikuchi Lights Up The Stage With Her Joyful Ministry of Peace Presentation.
When I arrived at the packed Tokyo event, I did not know that I was scheduled to speak,
and found myself following Deepak who introduced us to the meaning of space, the black stuff that we see the stars in,
and then Echan Deravy, who advanced the universal theme and our close friend Yumi Kikuchi
who spoke of the Ministry of Peace and her recent visit to Costa Rica,
who have signed on and created their own peace ministry.
By the time I got on stage my head was spinning with the immensity and mystery of the universe and I was so happy,
I had a hard time not bursting out laughing - it's was great to be among such conscious people, to talk about the deeper meaning of life
and how to utilise the invisible gifts that we all have.

For once Konomi did not have to translate, and later she appeared with us all on the BE THE CHANGE panel discussion.
Usually I am on stage and Konomi translates, it's not often that she gets to speak, and I was so enthralled by what she had to say
that I literally forgot what I had to say when the question came to me on the panel discussion - but all was well
and we made many new friends and got to advance the peaceful, action philosophy of Celebration Earth.
Over the last twenty years I have witnessed a great change in the environmental consciousness
that incorporates the spiritual into the saving of the planet.
Thanks heavens for that - before the environmental movement had a tendency to be scientific and spoke form the head before the heart.

With Konomi, Akiko and Koya San.
In the audience our good friends Akiko and Koya Yamakawa, a husband and wife team who have translated many of the worlds best spirtual books into Japanese.
They've just returned from a trip on the Peace Boat around Tierra del Fuego, not to far from where we now are in Patagonia.
Looking out at the beautiful lakes and mountains of the snow cappes Andes, Tokyo now seems a long, long, way away.
