Very nice, I have absolutely nothing intelligent to say about this.

But it was very emotive, and I liked the first half about you and arin's backgrounds a lot.

Congrats to andrew on the song.

2 "kudos" for you...whatever they are.

-If you post it, they will comment-

My, this guy really knows his stuff, and is handsome and kind to small animals,

this video series is amazing, I mean, wow...the movie? I'm foaming at the mouth, and gnawing my leg just to bear the wait.

One suggestion, keep up the song in the background thing, it's genius, works great, and I think that every movie should have one song playing through the entirety. But then the only music we would ever hear in a film is tool and led zeppelin. And that Oasis "experimental" album...yikes.

Two more kudos

Yeay.  I bulletined the shit out of it.  = I bulletined it once.  But it's bulletined.

I may just like the word, "bulletined."  It may be spelled incorrectly, I dunno.

I STILL WANT TO SEE THIS FUCKER!!!  HOW AM I EVER GOING TO SEE MY LITTLE CAMEO?!?!?!  HOW!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!!!

I'm glad we can finally see the video blogs.

Pretty interesting to make a documentary of the process of your film.  I can't wait to see where things go and learn more about where things have taken you guys with the film.

Good luck.

i've already sent out alerts to your podcasts and website today... only 15 minutes after stumbling onto your project... word of mouth - it's going to work!

congrats on the video blog release. the first two episodes look great, and i'm wielding all of my (very limited) power in the universe to get them seen.... hey, remember those chocolate covered granola bars called "Kudos"? Those were great, I wish myspace would send you two granola bars whenever I click the "give kudos" button. who do I suggest that to?

Dorian,
Just send a message to Tom with your free kudos bars suggestion and I'm sure it will be considered, but my concern is that we'd just end up with those discusting bars we had at the condo.

I loved the video..can't wait to see the next episode. (damn cliffhangers)
it was very inspiring...i'm sure it's only going to get better.
I, along with so many others, feel the same way about getting stuck in our own heads, and losing the contact--that inspires art .. it does seem to become a chore sometimes...until you step away, and socialize, explore, and clear your head.

What about Bob?
Bob Giovanelli

And to think I was early in on this, with the FEM sticker on my Sundance Kenneth Cole bag, and coming oh so close to both your condo parties.   Damn!!   But it was more than made up with getting to know you and your crew during the Gen Art Film Festival.   (Somewhere, you gotta ask Jeff to let you put on your "Bohemian Rhapsody" winning clip!)

Great job, guys.    Remember...this is how Charles Dickens built up his audience, with chapter episodes doled out one at a time.   Keep it up!

At this time in my life, i am struggling to 'find ' myself , artistically andotherwise. In the intro clip, i started to cry because i fully understand the angst of forcing the art that 'should' be naturally coming to me. I also love that you communicated through artistic medium and no direct verbal communication with one another in the beginning.
I wish the best to you and your project. i love it. Thank you for sending to me. i cant wait to see more.

Just watched the podcasts and I look forward to seeing your film. While I can't judge your film before I see it, it almost seems like your podcasts/the story behind the story may be more interesting than your film.

The story I see is "how do two people, who define their relationship by what it creates artistically, stay together in the process of making a film?" Good luck with everything and let me know if you distribute it. I made a doc a few years ago (and am in the process of filming another) and I've found the most important thing is how proud are you of the DVD in your hand? Hopefully, you're proud of what you're doing right now.

I have not even viewed the film yet, but I have to say my first impression (visual ) reminds me too much of a nother piece. The whole blue eyebal close-up thing was done, with "Requiemf or a Dream." Just thought I would let you know.

Hey thanks for letting us know, but actually, we already knew, in fact each image we put on all 3.5 of the episodes we've done so far reference one film or another and usually there is something in an episode that inspired the reference. In the case of episode 1 it's the close up textures of skin and hands that also occur in requim. So check out the rest of the video podcast poster images and see if you can guess what they are based on and see if you can guess what in the episode might have inspired them.

The future Mrs. Lawrie

This is such a beautiful thing...I hope the both of you do extremely well with this film, it sure would inspire and motivate a lot of intimidated artists to follow through with their artistic talents and desires.  Maybe if more people were able to step out of the "politically correct" box, this country will finally have the chance to live up to the intentions of America's "original" pioneers instead of encouraging (by example) the "perfect life" image.  I mean, by our government claiming that we have all of these FREEDOMS but counteracting those freedoms with laws that punish those who choose to practice them, they are basically "raising" us to do the same in our relationships with friends and family.  Aren't we all tired of those "Leave It to Beaver" families who end up divorced or breeding unhappy children that turn to a variety of criminal acts upon other human beings?  I think it would be a lot easier on everyone if they could just accept their imperfect lives and actually do something proactive to change them.  Who wants their children to end up in similar (or exactly the same) situations and lifestyles just because they didn't have the balls to encourage open-mindedness, honesty, and change in their own lives?  Not me.  You two are very lucky to have such a great support system behind you!  Keep going...

My prayers are with all that are involved in your project,

Ruie-Dawn
