http://www.aaronsmyo.com/site/813741/product/66971so i bought these about a week ago and have been using them with my Mellow Yellow blend.
see they're cool looking, huh? but there's a problem when a company invests so
much in the looks of a product and so little in the quality of the
product.
first off they burn really fast. Remember Jeanne
Garolfalo's character in Romy and Michelle's high school reunion? Well
she invented Lady Fair cigarettes the quick burning paper, 'twice the
taste in half the time', lol... Well these are the realest incarnations
of Lady Fair. These cigarettes burn to the filter in about 90 seconds.
Some may like that but I do not.
also, how they burn is a
problem. At first I thought it was me, that I didn't pack them properly
but all the ones i've smoked burn unevenly. holes start appearing in
the middle of cigarette before the cherry even reaches them.
another
problem: ash has a hard time flicking off, rather it encases the cherry
and doesn't look like its burning anymore. and when it finally does
flick off, it takes the whole cherry with it.
Vera Cruz tubes
look really pretty and neat, but they need some work. maybe in a few
years they'll be better but for now, steer clear of Midnights
*******Edited on 1st of November:
so i now am taking back what i said about
Midnights. maybe not entirely, they still burn pretty fast and seem
pretty fragile to flickage, but.. the rolling machine i use (from
Premier) the instructions specifically say not to pack the tobacco
tightly, So I didn't. thing thing is that i dont smoke tobacco, i smoke
Mellow Yellow herbals. So its a different consistency entirely and that
just occurred tonight high as a high flyin bird, lol. MY's are like
mulch or potpourri so you gotta pack a lot tighter than you would
tobacco. tight packing improves the quality of the smoke so presto.
