Aier Sauft - Electrobreaklash (cd Rizatek Records) This is a real cool discovery coming from San Francisco. This duo composes what they claim to be 'electrobreaklash' and what I would define as being the offspring between good-old 80s electronics and the more trendy electroclash style. This is very good dance music full of good-old analogue synth-vibes, typical EBM bass lines and manipulated, robotic voices. The "Memories torn"-song is one of the best illustrations of their know-how. This is hot danceable electro stuff, which is more than simply credible in the wide electroclash universe! I discovered several other cool songs, but the "Suicide Twins"-remix of "Rosemary's baby" and the "Jayone"-remix of "Sound invasion" are both definitely other essential cuts of this remarkable production! This band is in search of major record label and I think that this album can impress more than one!

SFSU - RA: Resident Advisor CD review: Aier Sauft - Electrobreaklash Style: Electro, Breaks Release Date: October 2005 Douwantopartayee? Doyouwanno party? Doyouwant ta partay? Doyou wannna partee? So, do you want to party? Well, do you? Thats the subject matter that Aier Saufts Electrobreaklash is asking in their debut artist album as the blokes from San Francisco tag along with the 80s revival that Mylo has been re-pioneering the last two years. So forget about your job, the drama from your girl/boyfriend, your school, and a part of you just wants to let all that stress out dont you. If you if you do, put this album on and youll be thrown in an abyss of funkydeliciousinyourfacelectromisch. As a whole, the album works well, jumping the hills, dragging you on a rollacoaster ride of dips and peaks. Tracks like the opener After Touch paints a homage to one of electronic musics most influential groups Kraftwerk. Synthesizers and electronic piano keys gloriously soars as it brings you back in time where dance music was nothing but fun. The one-two punch of Memories Torn and Unchangerable simmers the album in a lush melody-washed infection that can stand along some of the better 80s revival that have cropped up the last year, and the Suicide Twins mix of Rosemarys Baby gives the album a shift Miami-styled funkfest to boot...

Music Local Area Network Good music we found on MySpace By Tamara Palmer
Nov 22, 2006 True, MySpace may be a cesspool of Internet predators and bands that never should've grabbed a guitar pick or a drumstick without severe punishment from a firing squad. But, like rummaging through the wares at a discount clothing store for a unique find that works, careful MySpace weeding usually provides worthwhile results. We decided to jump into the muck and unearthed some promising Bay Area artists. Here's a handful of picks:
Aier Sauft

Sounds like: Crazy, industrial-leaning Germans on holiday in '90s-era San FranDisco, fending without a raincoat and having only a vocoder to keep warm as they hunt for drum machines.
Descriptive MySpace page phrase: "The Aier Sauft sound is sometimes regarded as taboo, and carries a feeling of sadness with a twist of absurdity."
