I'm making a list of qualities I admire, and would like to see in a relationship.
Keep in mind that you do not need to fit all of these "qualifications" to qualify.

What I look for:
1. You must like me.
I tend to like people who like me (for good reasons).
2. Music. Not only do I like it, but I am inspired by it, and music helps me feel better or worse. I love all kinds of music. Old music, new music, acoustic, electronic music. I love sounds that make me smile.
3. Sharing. I love feeling like I can share anything with you. Not only my secrets, but my food, and belongings. I give things back. I promise.
4. Trust. I need to be able to trust you. I hate having to censor myself just because I'm afraid you might talk about it to other people. But then again, as long as it's positive, you may talk about me. It's up to your best judgement to decide what to share and what not to share with other people. I also need to be able to trust you with my things. If you take something of mine, or if you lie to me, I will know. I have eyes and ears everywhere.
5. Protective? Common sense is not my strongest point, but I do know right from wrong. Sometimes, though, shit happens. You need to be the one who tells me the truth, and who will fucking snap someone in half if they hurt me. You need to remind me that I am strong. You need to be responsible.
6. Affection. Hold my motherfucking hand. Kiss me when my parents aren't around. Surprise me in public. Be cute. It's the smart thing to do, and though your friends might laugh, you make me glow on the inside. That should be what matters.
7. Let me. Let me listen to MY music. Don't complain that I smell funny. Let me touch you. Let me cling to you in crying fits and get your shirt all wet with foreign mucus and fluids. Let m write you love notes. Let me call you late at night. You get the idea.
8. Do not let me get away with:
Stealing. Smoking. Drugs. Drinking. Cheating. ETC.
9. Communicate. Tell me what you want and I'll try my fucking hardest to get it for you. Tell me what I'm doing wrong so that I may try to correct it. Tell me what you are thinking, and be honest. I've probably thought about it too.
10. Art. I'm really into it. Love it with me. Watch me criticise it. Tell me the truth. Pretend to understand it. I like that kind of stuff. Let me teach you how to draw eyes.
