Current mood:  argumentative
I'm going to take a leaf out of my fathers book and have a bit of a rant today, lol.

I read somewhere that the government is planning to make all venues / clubs / music orientated establishments fit a noise limitator thingy around the 25th February. I don't know the ins and outs or if it's even actually going to happen but I think the plan is to make any establishment that's applying or reapplying for a license to fit one of these stupid things and evidently the limit is going to be 80Db.

Er.. what?... what purpose does that serve?. Most clubs are adequately sound proofed so not to disturb people outside, fair enough you might hear a little bit of background noise but it's hardly that disruptive. Evidently one of the reasons this is being done is to protect the staff of these establishments... LOL, yeah... because obviously they had no idea when they went for a job at a nightclub / music venue that they'd hear loud music a lot of the time. hahahaha, seriously though, how stupid does the Government think we are?, the staff hardly need protecting from loud music, if they were bothered by it I highly doubt they'd work there.

I'm sick of Labour, they're just pathetic and evidently appear to have no respect or belief in the people they're representing. They never take the time to listen to anything anyone says and are so preoccupied with fixing things that aren't broken and telling us what to do that they screw up every good thing in this country.

Anarchy in the UK.
Lets start a revolution!.

From what I know as soon as the sound level reaches the limit all the electricity will go off. Something stupid like that.
You can sign a petition against it here:

Seriously though, pretty soon you won't be able to post blogs like this either the way things are going.

There's a lot wrong at the moment. The pubs are open for longer - but are losing money hand over fist because of the smoking ban. We've had smoking in pubs for hundreds of years but now we're set to lose the pubs themselves.

At this time of rising unemployment we could easily provide worthwhile employment for hundreds of people. We need to build housing that people can afford. Not always on undeveloped greenery but in existing towns. There are plenty of empty, neglected, run-down properties that could be restored too. We need to build more prisons so that we don't have to let people out early because they are all full.
I could go on - but I don't want to hijack your blog :)

hell yes now that's a rocker, man am i glad to hear that, i'm keeping revolution alive in the states, i'm sick of always being pushed, and told how to act, and what to think, wtf is that anyway? That's stupid i don't understand it, i've been sitting down long enough, and it's exactly because no one ever stands up anymore that they now know they can do as they please without recourse, but you take away a cops badge and they are just another person walking down the street, same for the government the only power we have is the power we give them, just a theory but still.
