Hey everyone,

We are still getting quite a few comments and messages from fans that are unaware that 18V is no longer a band.
For those of you who do not know, 18V was a band for 10+ years. During  those years we were given the opportunity  to go from local/indie status to a major label/national act. We were also granted the opportunity to tour on a National basis as well as visit continents and countries such as Australia, the UK, parts of Europe and Japan.
In Feb of 2007, Epic records decided they did not want to move forward with 18V. This left 18V without a home for the first time since 1999. We had discussed writing new music and pursuing a new record deal, but things just didn't feel right. Rather than drive 18V into the ground, we felt it would just be better to call it day and go our separate ways.
We all had such an amazing time with this band. We want to thank all of our fans for supporting 18V throughout the years. Without you we wouldn't have had the 10+ great years we did. Thank you!

honestly i wish you'd guys get back together. i was a big fan of your early stuff like the the best of album. and the later stuff i appreciated it for what it was but either way i'd def buy whatever u put out...

I still can't believe it. I wish there could be a dvd or something. It seriously shocked me when i found out because you guys were my favorite band and it was totally heart breaking that i had to miss your last shows. But still, i support anything and everything you decide to do in your careers.

Hey dudes...is sad to hear when a really good band broke up...but if is the case that the Record company decide not to continue is a really hard decision to go ahead...any way...you are a very good band...so probably if you continue you will find home in other place.......Well hope to see you together some day....be aware that you have support in latino America.....COSTA RICA!....Pura vida!....Jascore

Who needs a label these days. There's so many bands out there that make tons of money and tour from they're vans just because. I'm not getting on ur case. I'm just saying. 18V was an amazing band. And not nearly enough people know you guys yet. You just made an amazing album. You say you didn't wanna ground 18V. Well you still did. True fans would understand if you can't top your last album. Honestly though. If you wanna get back in the game. Death Metal would probably be the way to go. Or Emo (i hate emo... but its the in thing) Change it up. Dish it out. And if they don't like it. Fuck them. Its the meaning of the song that matters most to true fans. And the fact that you gave it a shot. 18V needs to make a come back. Everyone wants you guys back. You just made it big and then cut out. STOP THE SUSPENSE! Make a new album, lol. WE MISS 18V!

As a longgg time fan I was saddened to see the demise of one of my fav bands....I look back at the memories ..The Glass House,The Showcase,Warped Tour,The little hole in the wall bar in OC for the tour kick off,and that performance on the TV show that was sooo fun to go watch being filmed.I thank you for the great music ....the failure on the part of the label to see what a true gem they had in you is thier failure not yours.I look ahead now with full support for the new band and truly wish all of you the best in your persuit of rocking your fans...
