so i put up a few new songs i've been working on at home, that's to say they're kind of demos, homemade medicine. i've got a few more up my sleeve in the works, so if i can hook a little extra cash sometime maybe some kind of self-released album will emerge...

"one in a million" was written a few years ago & i always hated the way it turned out so here's another take on it. it's a song i wrote when i was single about being single & the girl i was hoping to find, which turned out not to be in a bar after all.

"where i started from" is actually a song inspired by my mother & how she's influenced me in one way or another. my idea is to make it into a big, long song with multi-parts, each inspired by a different family member of mine.

"emancipate" started out as a real loud rock song some of you may remember, kind of like heatmiser meets bon jovi or something. here it's recorded true to the way i wrote it. it's a reflection on high school & the darkness of teenage life & how damn miserable it can be. hope you like it...
