I've mentioned Megan McArdle, aka
Jane Galt, in my blogs before. Now there is an
article available with a nice little bio.
My favorite bit is "Jane's Law":
"The devotees of the party in power are smug and arrogant. The devotees of the party out of power are insane."
Isn't that the way it goes.
There's also a bit of a caution in there for bloggers. She hoped her blog "would allow her to .. the political disagreements she regularly had with her liberal boyfriend".
The result?
"When we stopped having political arguments, it became clear that there were even more problems with the relationship that the arguments had been masking," she laughs. "So the blog killed my relationship."
Guys? As far as I know, she is still up for grabs!
