I'm asking for your help in getting responses to my latest research project - issues surrounding teen pregnancy and parenting in the U.S. I'm an advice columnist and social researcher on the web for the past 18 years at
AskheartBeat.Com Dating & Relationships Advice For Adults & Teens. I'm particularly interested in hearing from young men and women that became parents in their teens, those contemplating getting pregnant in the near future, as well as ADULT PARENTS OF TEENS who became pregnant and chose to carry on with the pregnancy.
Example questions include:
- What would you want a potential or actual "baby's momma" or "baby's daddy" to know about pregnancy or raising a child that they seem to be clueless about?
- If you are or were a teen parent and had to do it all over again, would you make the same choice? Why or why not?
There are a total of 10 questions on the survey, which can be quickly and easily completed online and emailed to my attention, OR printed and faxed.
Your assistance in completing the survey and forwarding the URL to teen parents and the parents of teen moms and dads you know, AND/OR reposting this message on approved boards and blogs would be greatly appreciated.
Our goal is to have at least 500 completed survey responses in hand by August 30, 2008.
Find the survey in PDF format at this URL: http://www.askheartbeat.com/docs/parentingsurvey.pdf
Thank you in advance for any assistance you may be able to provide in this regard.
