I'm going to put on a few gigs to raise cash for the album because I can't afford to put it all out by myself. I'm thinking of doing a gig at the end of September and one in mid-October, both in Dublin. Please come and throw money at me - ye know its for a good cause!! I may have a few cds to hand out too - live versions of the newer stuff and maybe some home demos. Maybe, just maybe ;)

Everything is going well in the studio. We're working on the songs and getting them ready to record. These days I'm throwing new songs to the lads and hoping they can keep up with the pace. They've been awesome so far so it makes a little lady very happy and it drives her to finish off with writing lyrics!

Yesterday we were in studio and recorded 5 live songs for a CD compilation of Knockanstockan's best. There was a camera crew filming the whole thing and I think it's fair to say on behalf of the lads that there was a lot of fun to be had. And a lot of sweating! We can't wait to see and hear the final results!

We're a little bummed we had to cancel our gig at the Eurocultured festival. What happened is that we were booked to play on the main stage on Saturday only to find out two days before the event that we were put on the Sunday line-up. Alas we couldn't play the Sunday gig as we were booked in studio for recording. Tut tut at the promoters!!
