And that's exactly it. You need to have time to reflect on the decisions you've made. I created much needed space from this band Vox Vermillion, that I started years ago with my good friends Eric and MJ. It became something different then what I dreamed for it. Now that it's been over a year ago since it ended and I am in a new band, it's been good to come back to this and love it for what it was. And still is. A milestone, a stepping stone, a full experience. Lesson learned. Protect your art. Cherish your art. Embrace the ups and the downs of music. And don't let anyone try to take the heart and life out of what you create.
Today for the first time in over twelve months I sat and listened to these old songs. I smiled. I felt good about it. I felt no hate no anger no sadness not even a little bit of longing. I just felt good about where I am now.
Well, I'm done rambling on. Just wanted to get it off my chest.

I would like to say I'm touched, but as you know Ive had so many bands I'm jaded.Just keep going!

P.S. I think I once told you ,afterI'm finished recording a song ,I never want to hear it again! (they are like old telephone s)It just breaks my heart!
