Sean hello! First of all, can you present Hellbound at our readers?

Our group is composed of Jamie Butler, with the battery, of Chris Guyan and Paul Johnston with the guitars, Scott Beharrie, with low and the “backing growls” and finally of myself, Sean Nunes with the song.

For me, Hellbound plays a mixture of power metal in the vein of Pantera and death brutal metal. How would you describe your music?

It is true that the principal influence of the group is Pantera but we do not want to stick a label to our music. We do not focus ourselves on only one style of music and this is why we take as a starting point the the death, thrash, old-school, hardcore and of the rock'n'roll. And I think that it is by drawing our inspiration of these styles that we could develop ours.

Your last scenic service in Westport Bar was excellent. How much concerts had you given before?

The last concert in Westport was formidable for us. The reaction of the public was one of best than we had seen in Dundee and it was brilliant to play in front of them. I believe that it was our 25th concert.

Which are your influences?

Pantera, Slayer, Cannibal Corpse, Vader, Decapitated, Down, Alice in Chains and all that is original metal or rock'n'roll. And one can add to that Pink Floyd, Pearl Jam, etc

Can you give me your whole discography? How much demonstrations did you realize?

For the moment, we have only one demonstration but we go soon recorded an album, before long of time.

Summers you in the search of a label?

Frankly, even if it is not easy to be pointed out by a label, I think that if we work hard, that can be concretized.

What do you think of the Scottish scene metal?

When the great groups come to play in Scotland, I can say to you that you will not find a public which reacts with as much enthusiasm than the Scottish public. But I think that the local scene metal Scottish can be much better than it is not today.

Since you have Portuguese origins, do you know well the scene metal Lusitanian?

My Portuguese origins are rather remote to some extent but I know that in Portugal, people support thoroughly metal.

Which are your projects?

The same ones as they were the first day: to work hard, to compose of the songs which we like to play and which people will like to listen to.

A last word?

I would like just to thank Tristao and the team of Sickness Metal in France and we hope that the French public will like what we do. Come to visit us on www.myspace.com/hellbound84.
Cheers Metal Sickness and French readers!
