UK Theatres and TV Studios
I thought it would be interesting to see if I could remember all the UK Theatres' that I have worked in, either as a Lighting Engineer or Project/Support Engineer.
The list turned out to be quite a long one:-

Of course at some of these venues I was just providing support for the Lighting Systems, Annual Systems checks or one off support for a First Night performance or technical backup when VIP's were present i.e. The Queen etc.
The majority of my involvement was in the installation and setup of Lighting Systems following a Theatre refurbishment or New Production; these included:- 'Phantom of the Opera', 'Chess', 'Cats' etc.
Some of my favourite Theatres include 'The Apollo Victoria' which at the time was running 'Starlight Express' and for me this used some of the more interesting technology at the time. I also enjoyed working at the 'RSC Stratford Upon Avon' there were always rehearsals going on, so I got to see many of the productions including those that were touring.
