THE END IS NEAR?!?!  WHAT?!?!  Read on...

On Saturday, September 1, 2007, the Caseman is marrying his best friend Jessica!  Now you know why Amounting to Nothing haven't been as active in the music world as of late.  Jess and I have gone through 8 years of Ross-and-Racheal-type-drama and it's finally come to this - a wedding!  To those of you who knew - thanks for the prayers and support as we planned and planned and planned.  To those who didn't know - now you do and I'm sorry for being mischevous.  So that's the news, the end of SINGLEHOOD IS NEAR!

Wrote a new song last night.  I don't have the words quite right yet but the melody's there.  We've been listening to a lot of hardcore/metalcore/screamo bands but that's just not us.  We love that flavor but we fall into that whole The Ataris (Blue Skies/Astoria), The Almost and Anberlin realm.  This fits right into that...it's almost safe to say that it sounds like Amounting to Nothing. 

We're trying to score some new shirts.  We hope to have them by next week's shows.

Sian Clothing is no longer sponsoring us I guess.  They're not responding to us anymore so we wish them well and we want to thank them for believing in us.  We hope to be representing another company out of Albuquerque soon - maybe.  There's still a hill to climb but we hope it's fruitful for the both of us.

After all the wedding stuff has died down and trips are made we are planning on recording a new EP.  We've been saying that for a while now right?  We'll, it's going to come to fruition soon.
