God damn! I was innocently walking along, phone in hand chatting to me ma when BAAAAAM! Some kind of bastard shopping basket type thing attached to a fxxking wall smacks me in the head! I now have bleeding basket print on my head and a deaf mum from me swearing at volume down the phone.

Other news, I got an email today from a lady called Alanna about 'Oxjam'. A series of gigs going on throughout October nationwide to raise money for oxfam.

 if you're interested in having a look. Sounds like there will be a few events in Pompey. If she likes my stuff then I'll be playing one of em, so I'll be trying to drag people down for that :) but really, people should try to get along even if I don't as it's for charidy mate.

There's been some more good free giggage recently too. At the Fawcett Inn, You Me and the Atom Bomb, Chillerton and Circus Act, followed on from Waynes night a couple of weeks before, providing another helping of a new sound for the pub and one which many think should become a more regular occurance. This is true even if the old punks (which is what most of the old local are) do think there should be more dancing. I'd be inclined to agree, but I've just had two hip operations so it's more of a sit on the table affair for me... a few more gigs and a few more pints and I'll be pissing you off at gig near you soon.
The Fawcett's landlord Rob made a real effort for the lads and seems to be well up for more of the same. The Fawcett to become the new Doc's? What do people reckon? Sounds like a great idea to me. Pass it on!
