This is an old poem I wrote, at the start of the year don't know what was going on whilst writing it but enjoy!
Cupidity.
Classy girl, Classy name, classy reputation.
Classy boy, Classy brother, love no imitation.
Everything I've ever wanted, I've ever gotten.
Everything I've even had soon became rotten.
Slip on your heels and trenchcoat, straighten your hair.
Sit close, screw things up, he tells you that you're fair.
Too many chasing after you, can't escape -trapped.
World is spinning, too much happening- find it hard to adapt.
When life is a different world each and every week,
Do you lie around and stall, wait for him to speak?
Re-apply your make up and be someone new this time.
People around exclaim you're beautiful, no one sees the grime.
Hate or love it, it'll always be this way,
Bite your nails, have crooked teeth no matter what you weigh.
No one could possibly have everything they desire.
Contamination within ourselves it's a lustful fire.
