I'm browsing through my friends list and I gotta say, wow! Vector portraits are sure gettin' popular!

LOL.

Here are some people that created their own vector portraits while crediting mine.

NOTE** I DID NOT DO THESE!








I've been gettin' messages from people lately asking for tips and tricks on how to do vector portraits.

Honestly, there really isn't any tips I can reallly give out. It's all basically tracing shades and colors in Illustrator.

I did create a tutorial like 3 years ago for school, I'm not sure if it would help any of you out, but here it is...

Everybody thinks life is a big fucking tutorial. Why apply your self and pratice when you can just do a tutorial and BOOM you're the shit. One of my favorite lines from Kanye West is :

Y'all don't know my struggle
Y'all can't match my hustle
You can't catch my hustle
You can't fathom my love dude
Lock yourself in a room doin' five beats a day for three summers
That's a different world like Kree Summers

The problem with striving to duplicate a niche or trendy style is by the time you master it everyone else has move on. Most people pay money generally want to hire the first rate action...no his second rate sidekick.

PS. there is no substitute for practicing.

Lol I use to attempt and do vectors like 4 years ago
but patience is a key with that ish
but I think after seeing all of yours
and these youtube tutorials
I shall try again =]
maybe finish some of these incomplete ones Lol
