Oh yes, I see 4 of them now.....very nice. I like the apples. Funny how I'm fascinated with apples but I don't like to eat them. Weird eh?

You might enjoy "Garden Spells" by Sarah Addison Allen. It features a lovely old apple tree with a mind of its own. There's a character in the book who loves the tree but doesn't like eating apples, either. :)

Was it the Wizard of Oz where the tree started pelting the crew with apples after Dorothy (I think) picked one??????

i like one kind of apple but i can't remember the name of it. it's not the green one and it's not the red one. it's the other one....hmmm, it sorta red and yellowish......can't recall the name of it but I like that one cuz it's sweeter than the other two.....thought i could eat the green ones in a fruit salad w/whipped cream :D

Delicious is sweet but red. Macintosh maybe. I think a new poem Tuesday. A reflection poem. Way too late for the pub but I had an idea. Might be a collab too. Great to see you.

But even better than that are the Granny Smiths dipped in caramel & then dipped in milk chocolate & then dipped in sprinkles. It is that time of year, I'll be making those soon. It's a Halloween tradition.  :)

How are ya Rog?

Awwwh so so lovely! I was telling to a friend that I think Autumn would be my favorite season if I lived in the US because to me everything is green always. Gotta love those warm colors, the palette of nature is perfect.

Hi Sam. What a pleasant surprise. Great to see you. I have been over to your blog to see what's new. I'm in a city so I do see color but not the New England landscapes that are so famous unless I travel.

Wow these are really good Rog.
I feel as though I'm there. Thanks.
No apple trees here or those brilliant Autumn colors.
On the other hand I am able to catch a rainbow now and then and I'm definitely an old crow.

wow, what wonderful pictures, Rog ;)  I don't think I've ever seen an apple tree so loaded with apples.  The second pic (red, green & yellow) is my favorite - it's so vibrant.  And those crows look a little ominous - lol!
