I am breaking down the studio for certain key parts for the live gig. The stage is in place now, it's a cowboy stage. Something more than just dirt.
I got to arrange the sounds now to a short list to access for the gig. Then move it all to the event, set it all up, set up the cameras and the New Zoom H4n to record it all. There is a Alesis HD24 for backup but that is way over kill. Thanks to Doug Barrett for the borrow of the HD24, he had to pull that from his desk in his studio to bring in. We will keep that for a back up and I need to help him pull some files out of it as well. I also dug up 2 old 40 GB IDE drives for it too.
Plenty to do in short.
I hope for a good turn out, no indication at all, how many or if any will show up. None ....
Tech details? Ask me ... like H4n, it's a 2 GB file limit size. Who is going to be operating it? Me ... I have to keep my eye on that and start a new recording file sometime. The 4 GB card I have for it, it only will record about 1:55. I will have to change cards, it's a 2 hour gig. Hum, how you going to do that and do the drum track, the synths the .... heck I do not know, but I am going to have too. that and a dozen other things too during the gig. Even the cameras. I think my camera people wound up with paying gigs for that day. Such it is .... A up hill challenge, all the way.
The close up camera, the card in it will only do about 45 minutes worth. I will have to watch that too. The standard camera, a 1 hour tape, that will have to change. The master shot camera? well it has a hard drive, 30 something hours for it. Figure huh?
Got plenty of details, all the way into the sound made from each synth and it's use. Ask ....
dale
btw I figured out cold fusion too and I can go faster than speed of light .... (not)(too darn bad, I could use that speed)
