So I just got back from Middle of Nowhere, Alabama. Me & Tony went up to assist in catering a large wedding at
The Lodge at Gorhams Bluff. It was nice to get away. The food was brilliant (if you ask me). We even did a dinner for 22 people on monday night, including a food critic for some magazine.

But who cares about that? The best part (possibly one of the best things ever) was golf cart offroading. Team Flavor borrowed one of the lodge's golf carts and went full speed through the woods, over logs, through mud and even jumped some piles of mulch & dirt. I haven't had so much fun in a bit. We also hung out in a treehouse, just missed the town 'parade' (which consisted of about 15 people on bicycles and a couple golf carts & strollers), did gymnastics routines on the stage in the banquet hall and explored a dilapidated schoolhouse. Good times.
The back to FL. Played with fireworks, went to a show. Then the suck part.
In case you don't know, my car has been in the shop for about 40 days. Apparently when you don't put oil in them "regularly" they cease to work. It started at the dealer, who denied my warranty, but charged me $150 anyway. Then went to the machine shop to be rebuilt, then to the auto repair place to be reassembled and such. So for about a month I drove a rental car, thinking everyday I'd get a call saying my car was done. Nope. The rental company called first and said that I had reached the maximum rental period and that I had to return the vehicle. So no car. Went to AL, came back still no car. Then I finally get the call. I get all excited, go pick up my car (after paying even more $), and leave. Every time I stop, my engine dies. So I go back. The mechanic claims that because my car is all computer controlled it will go away within a day or two. Yeah, no. And in the past 3 days, it has already leaked out all the oil, blows nice clouds of smoke and runs like crap. So still no car. I'm about over it.
Tomorrow I might be running up to Jacksonville for the night. Hang out with some friends. That is, if I can find a ride.
Also, maybe tomorrow is the long awaited Pirates II.
I guess thats it. I thought I had more interesting things to say, I guess not.
